Cause of your complaints?
At Energenic, we always look for the cause of your symptoms. Before we perform the first treatment, we ask you to fill out a questionnaire. With this we look for clues in your medical history. Why did your complaints arise? This could be an accident, surgery, fall or previous injury. There may also be a link between your symptoms and your posture, inactivity, stress or overuse.
Neuromuscular examination
Once we have this information, we start the neuromuscular examination. This means that first we give you some simple tasks to see how the mobility and balance of your pelvis and hips are. Then we do an extensive examination on the treatment couch. Here we test the muscle function of the different muscles in the low back, pelvis, hip, knee and ankle area. It is important to note that complaints to the pelvis and/or hip are often related to one or more other joints. Therefore, we examine other regions as well.
Treatment hip pain and/or pelvic pain
After the examination you will have insight into where your complaints come from and which structures are involved. We will explain to you what the treatment will look like and after the treatment you will receive one or more exercises to work on your complaints at home. It is essential for your recovery to keep doing these exercises. Per treatment we chart your progress, so you know where you stand. Our average number of treatments is between 5 and 7, regardless of how long your complaints have existed.
